I'm sensible - I don't throw the car around or anything. Family man, etc etc. The tracking may be out, but I expect that any Saab main dealer > should have proper tracking equipment. It only veers with the road camber. ie flat road, no veering. >Is the excessive wear symmetric between both front tyres ? Almost. And that wouldn't account for the uneven wear... I can't believe that there isn't something wrong. I've had the car from new, and the only time it has been driven at high speeds was on German autobahns. I don't throw it around bends etc, so I don't know whether I am being unrealistic in expecting these expensive tyres to last longer than 11500 miles through uneven wear. The remainder of the tyre is only about 1/3 worn. In other words, I could have expected up to around 25-30k out of the fronts had it not been for the scuffing on the edges. Simon
