Hi Goran, Thanks for the response. I think this is helpful. Your car is a manual, and mine an auto, but I would expect little difference in the wear characteristics of the two drive types. I drive sensibly, so I can't really believe that I should get such marked scuffing on the outside edges and believe there must be something at issue with the car. Your comment about not hearing about the problem in Sweden is interesting, as the Dealer told me all 9-5s were like this.
