Subject: Re: how to tell if timing chain is going?

hello, is there any recommended interval for replacing/checking your timing chain? i'm particularly interested in any change interval (or any other info) for an '87 Saab 900 Turbo 16v. it has 125,000 miles on it, but i don't really hear any "rattling" noise, and don't usually get to the high RPMs (don't generally need to - the car is fast enough with only moderate RPMs for most needs ;-). thanks. -- Nate t.
