Hi People: Can anyone offer advice re a '77 SAAB? Runs fine then stops, new injectors, value, etc., son even rebuilt the tranny (again) because he said the symptoms were similar to last time .....I told him to check fuel pump, coil, condenser, etc. but he says he has checked the simple things, even before he rebuilt the transmission (he has that chore down to a fine art, a one day job) and put in a new machined shaft. But the problem persists. He now wants to measure fuel pressure, but I suggested it might be more simple. Is he missing something, or is this just an excuse for not visiting his mother on Mother's day! Asking here because someone said fuel problems were common on this model. Suggestions greatly appreciated. (kidding).
