Have you checked the orange hoses between the thottle body and intake. When I had to replace the engine on my 83 900T several years ago, the hoses or bellows as they may be called had to be replaced. They were cracked and leaking. That cuts down on performance and boost. Ken Washington 87 9000S 87 900S 83 900T
