Why is it that driving hard would cause a problem like a cracked head gasket..i can understand other parts like the pulleys..but why would punching it to the redline make the head more likly to go...its not like the tempature rises that much when u floor it..i am just very curious..i drive my 88 9000t hard all the time..anrt they built to do that...i am wondering if i should change my driving habits..i have 192,000 on my baby and i think that head gasket job might be the end of her for me...as would a new tranny and turbo..considering i paif 500 for a new ABS computer and 1000 on an ABS pump...any thoughts?
