My insurance pays my deduct if I hit an animal but dosn'tif I hit a tree to avoid hitting a deer. You didn't say if you had the complete history on the car, It may have been in an accident and a dishonest repair man may have pulled the shock absorbing steering column back into place?- Just a guess???
