Are there any price comparisons available between UK and European Saab prices? It is only the price difference that is the issue, and it is difficult to see how the government could legislate to force price reductions. Of course dealerships are not going to say that prices will drop further because then everyone will hang on. I suspect that they are going at least to try and get the August rush out of the way at least before they drop prices further. Certainly it would be nice to think that one could get an 'entry-level' (sorry) Saab 9-3 for £12-13000. Suddenly it becomes almost (but not quite) affordable. I wonder what effect it would have on second-hand resale values? As we all know, Saabs take a hell of a dive once they hit the road - I can't imagine they would drop further. best, Pete ('85 900i) -- Peter Thompson Computer Manager Emmanuel College Cambridge
