Subject: Help: '1993 Saab 9000 CS' Stalls Once In A While

It's happened twice now. Once after driving for 4 hours going 140km/h. I got off the main high way and dropped down to 80km/h. After about five minutes it felt like the car was going to stall. After about five seconds the 'check engine' light went on and everything seemed ok. The driver's manual says the 'check engine' light means the fuel injection system is in a fail safe mode. Next time in the car everything was fine again. No more 'check engine'. So I didn't. :) Then a week later (yesterday) I got the same 'about to stall feeling' and it did. It probably wouldn't have stalled if I was driving but I had to stop at a set of lights. Then it stalled at the next set of lights too. I thought maybe it was (like my mom says) bad gas. Let me know if anybody has experienced a similar problem. Thanks. -Andre
