Hi Phil, It sounds like you got a reasonably good deal. As the for the panels, they can be removed by removing 2 screws in the handles, 2 screws on the side of the pocket at the bottom (you will have to remove the covers for the screw heads) 2 screws that hold the handle cover in. after removing all screws pull the bottom of the door panel toward you to unsnap the panel snaps and then push the door panel toward the upper portion of the door the release it. As for the covered panel removal. there are a number of black and gold pieces that hold them from the backside. BE CAREFUL and remove the clips with a flat blade screw driver. Pry from the back inching them off slowly. Be careful because these black tabs will break easily. You cannot reuse the material because the foam material between the backing and the black panel has rotted. This is why it is bubbling up. Hopefully this will help!
