This information comes straight from engine developement at Saab (if thats not experience, then what is....??.). You bet I would thrust those guys rather than you or anyone else. Also, if you have access to the correct factory manuals, you can verify my statement in the description for the "Test DI procedure" (or similar) there is a small note that tells you not to run it upside down. And did I say WILL damage ? No did not. I said MAY damage. Which should be enough for most people.. If you think its ok to run it upside down, go ahead and do so, I dont really care. /Mathias
