Don't know if this will directly translate to the 900, but I changed to a set of 205/55-16 wheels on my '90 9000CD 2 years ago. Got them from TireRack along with Dunlop SP9000 tires. The improvements in wet traction and response were tremendous, and I actually prefer the tighter, more controlled feel of the ride. TireRack's service was exemplary. The wheels are manufactured by Moda (BBS), but I don't think the model I got is available any longer. Phil D.
