It could very well be that the wire or connector is off, I opened up the console to clean the contacts on my 88 900T and when I put it all back, I must have knocked a wire loose so I did not get one window operating, you can easily check the switch connectors to see if it is a wire, you can also jump the wires while it's out to see if you have a bad/dirty contact in the switch.
