Here is a similar situation. I also have a 94 900S. After the car sat for the winter it would not start unless you jumped it. It also would start if you pushed it and popped the clutch. after checking everything and installing a new battery, no change. Here is what I found. The positive battery cable on the post of the battery had extreme corrosion inside the crimp. you could not see it. I stripped the wire at the post connection and fond massive corrosion. I replaced the cable and everything was fine. Hope yours is as simple.
