Subject: 9000 ACC Blower Stuck on HI

Hello, When I started my 9000cs '93 (85K miles) yesterday I heard a stange click from under the hood. As I went to turn off the annoying ACC (as I do whenever the car sits for more than a few minutes), it wouldn't shut off. THe blower motor is now permanently stuck on high, even when I push the 'OFF' button! The only way now to turn off the fan blower moter in the ACC is to take out the fuse (#6). Any suggestions as to the cause? I love the look of this car, I love to drive it, but it seems there is or was a complete lack of quality control on the construction side of these vehicles. In addition to this I will be needing to replace the heater core and the cylinder head gasket leaks oil. In addition to that I've had the complete ACC unit replaced in the past already and am on my third clutch master cylinder...(don't ask)! Somebody give more good reasons not to ditch it! -John
