hello, i have an '87 900 Trubo 16v, and have found it to run warm, and all over the scale. i don't know what your ambient temp was for your highway trip, but even in cool weather mine will climb to half, and warm weather to around 3/5 to 3/4 of the green scale. this car ranges over it temp gauge more than any other i have ever owned. my other cars came up to temp, and there they stayed. one caveat is that i am in need of replacing my radiator relatively soon, probably later this year, so my cooling is some what, but not badly, affected. -- Nate t.
