I used to own one (bought at 45k miles) and sold at 65k miles. This is what I replaced during two years of ownership: water pump, starter, and clutch assembly. Watch out for headlight switch assembly; heater valve (inside the dash), thermostat, and turbo (of course). It was a sweet machine and never left me stranded. I wish I didn't sell it. 1999 9-3 Nathan <nospamnopsamam.com> wrote in message news:q_8e5.26900$DZ4.101301nopsam.corecomm.net... > I am considering purchasing a 1989 900 Turbo Convertible.
