Subject: Re: HUGE key & remote for '00 9-5

Ditto here. We picked up our new 2.0T 9-5 Estate a couple of weeks ago. I was surprised by the rather clumsy set up with the key and the remote. We traded my 1.8T A4 (too small) and Ford Fairmont (too old) for the SAAB and both had better key/remote systems. The Audi's was the best. Just the single key and remote. All in all, the SAAB is a very nice car and we are pretty happy with it. Although, my wife pointed out that the tape deck does not automatically switch sides like the Ford's did. The inconvenience of it all ..... My wife and our three daughters ride around in the SAAB and I am left to commute in a 1983 BMW 323i. Which is still a good little car, but I feel may need to be retired shortly. Any suggestions out there at what I should look for in an early 90's SAAB. Will probably have around $12 - 15,000 Australian to spend. Not fussed about whether it's a coupe, convertible or sedan. I was thinking about getting something in an Aero configuration. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks. RonM <mehrnopsamatlantic.net> wrote in message news:oFJf5.480$372.11589nopsamoon1.ba-dsg.net... > I just got my first Saab, a '00 2.3T 9-5 wagon.
