Thanks for the advice. This car does have a/c. I have narrowed my search to 2 cars. The aforementioned Saab is the first. I am a little wary of the auto transmission, but it has been serviced regularly and is in good shape. With only 73k, I think it probably has a good chance of going a while longer. My other choice is a 91 Audi 90 20-valve quattro 5sp sedan with about 155k. Both cars are very well maintained and in the same price range (just under $6k, US). I know this is a Saab group, but I will pose the question anyway: All things being equal, is the Saab a better choice? Thanks, Nathan "RCS" <e9225126nopsam1.tuwien.ac.at> wrote in message news:39845F03.72AEF001nopsam1.tuwien.ac.at... > Forget the AUTO tansmission!!!!
