i have noticed where the shifter rod goes into the transmission is covered with oil as is the transmission casing underneath it...for 196,000 i have virtually no oil leaks anywhere..i assume that what is leaking is the shifter seals?? is this a big deal?? will it be fine as long as i keep the trans oil level correct? and attempt to keep it clean....can the seals be replaced without moving, dismantling tranny...thanks for all your help brad 88 9000T Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Before you buy.
