Make sure that all of the bulbs bear the correct part number and that you replace them in pairs (i.e., if a left tailight bulb is replaced, also replace the bulb in the right tailight). I have read (and experienced) that slight differences in resistance between pairs of bulbs, due either to different ages of the bulbs or different manufacturers/model, will throw off the pictogram circuit. I ended up just replacing all of the bulbs in the tailight assemblies with the correct new bulbs and the pictogram problems disappeared. Check also to make sure that you have good connections and clean contacts on the bulb holders. -- Ken Bell :: kenbellnopsamx.com :: (212) 475-4976 (voice)
