Subject: Re: Setting base idle on a LH2.4

Ken, All the information on setting the basic idle is for a cadmium plated 3 wire AIC on saabnet as well as townsend. I have the LH2.4 which has the 2 wire AIC. I know it should be very similar, but the wire to ground and close the AIC is not the same color on my LH2.4 as the LH2.2, and I do not know where it is. I have tried to set basic idle by disconnecting the AIC and plugging the hoses, but that does not seem to work as I get codes telling me that the AIC pulse width is out of range. I am guessing that the AIC does have a slight leakage around the valve which affects basic idle setting. Thanks for the help though.
