Bradford, as promissed. The seal is embedded in a steel housing with a flange. The flange is on the outside. Remove the rubber sleeve. Start with disconnecting the shift-axle (drivers-side) from the gearbox-rod. Use two screwdrivers that you put between the gearbox-housing and the seal flange an work the seal out. Take the seal off of the rod an place the new one. Tick it in it's position. Connect the rods, put back the rubber bellow and the job's done.
