Subject: 900 transmission identification



How can I tell what year a transmission is.  I have an '82 900 with a blown 5 spd.  I plan on replacing this
with a 90-93 5spd, preferably out of a n/a car for the higher gearing.  How do I make sure the new 
transmission is the correct year?  The place I plan on getting it from sent me a n/a motor when I needed
a turbo motor about a year ago and I want to make sure they send the right part.
