Hi, Saab 9000 262000KM 2.3T CD. The solution was to change the toshiba transistor 2SD1525 with a new one in the fan speed controller. The ACC panel in cabin was not causing this problem as diagnose by the SAAB dealer. GM dealer wanted to charge around 1500$ CDN to change my ACC panel with a rebuilt one. A new one would have cost around 2200$ CDN. A 2SD1525 cost around 15$ US (23$ CDN) at Techsonic California. The good news with this story is its better to pay 23$ CDN than 1500$ CDN. And they were not changing the right electronic device. I believe the Dealer would have also change the entire fan controller when they would have realized that the problem was not fixed. They would have probably charge another 300$ to 500$ CDN. Thank You to all Saab driver who share their solution. I have save at least 1500$ CDN because of this news group. Have a nice drive with your SAAB. It's a dream car. But be cautious Saab Dealer don't seemed to be very knowledgeable. If anybody want to know the name of the SAAB dealer where I went in Québec Canada. I will email Dealer name to individual request. By the way is there a SAAB dealer black list? I believe, I would have a name to add to such a list. Mario Lachance
