Subject: Re: Clunk from front end when reversing

Mine does it..... and from what I hear & read.... everyone else who has a Classic 900 has the same "feature". I hesitate to call it a "problem" because as far as I can tell, there is no problem! 340,000 miles on my 1983 900 Turbo proves it. - Orbitronik John Price wrote: > I have a 1987 Saab 900 Turbo 16S Everything seems to be normal travelling > forward, no audible clunks whilst accellerating or decellerating, however > when I stop and reverse as soon as I touch the brakes there is a loud clunk > that can be felt through the steering, I have checked the callipers, ball > joints, track rod ends, shockers in fact everything at the front end, Does > anyone have any ideas please > > John Price Rutland UK
