Subject: '91 Saab 900 S 2.1 engine heat

Dear all, I recently bought a Saab 900S 2.1 16Valve (1991). Although this car is in Holland, it is imported from the USA. I am very content with this car, but I have one concern: The cooling fan of the engine already starts to work after a cold start and a five minutes ride. Although the dashboard temperature meter indicates no abnormal temperatures (te needle is always in the middle of this meter) I'm not sure this is all right. Also after I turn off the engine, the cooling fan keeps on running for a few minutes. Should I worry? Ather very stupid question: I cannot find the button on the dashboard for a rear fog-light. Are US cars equiped with this light and if so, where is the button? It is not situated behind the steering wheel at the left side of the dash.... Regards, Jacco
