These cars have Trionic version 7. This system does not work as other management systems. Trionic 5 for example, tries to regulate towards a specific boost level => boost will almost always be the same for identical situations => you can look at a boost gauge and conclude that things seem to work as usual... T7 tries to achive a predetermined airmass/combustion. Boost is one of the weapons used to get the correct airmass/cumbustion. This means boost can be very different (depending on air temp etc etc) for the same output power => you can have a boost gauge but you would never know what the correct or normal boost level should be => a boost gauge is useless. Hence, no boost gauge. I also thing this is a result of a policy rather than a technical thing, the average driver does not care about boost levels....
