1995 9000 Aero 40 K miles Driving west out of San Antonio, TX on I-10 Ambient temp 94 deg F; full tank of fuel. 75 mph / 2500 rpm in 5th gear pulling up a long hill; showing just a little boost on the turbo, as I opened the throttle, the engine cut out, then picked back up. Did it again a little later and the engine died. Coasted to a stop and it started right back up. Continued on. Later (+ 300 mi) in the trip, with an ambient of 98 deg F, I had a similar cutout when I tried to pull strongly at 85+ mph on the flat. (Fuel tank was now only 1/4 full). My guess is a marginal fuel pump not suppling sufficient pressure/flow for the demand. Runs fine otherwise. Other suggeastions? And I *am* the local Saab indie (by default)... <grin>
