We have the same vehicle which we use on Cape Cod in the summer. We had it repainted, had a new top put on it and did some engine work. It has 143,000 on it and now runs like a top. We thought of changing the oil to a synthetic, but have not as yet. We had some problems when we did not use the car for long periods in the winter, but a battery kill switch fixed that. It seemed the security systems were killing the battery. I would suggest locating a reputable SAAB mechanic. Enjoy it.
