Subject: Help!!!!

I have a 1996 900sx which has several niggly problems.......but one is driving me mad and costing me money.....can any one help. During wet or damp weather the car will quickly steam up, excessivley with a very heavy fog on the rear and front windscreens and also on the rear side windows, the fog is to heavy to be removed with a chamois or cloth. This happens quickly i.e. within seconds of the car starting and regardless of the blower or cabin temperature settings. To get rid of the fog or avoid it I have to use the A/C which clears it quickly, but if I don't keep the A/C on then the fogging quickly returns (30 seconds to 1 minute) to drive permanantly with the A/C on is not very cost effective and also effects my performance so I don't really class this as a solution although I'm having to do it to avoid crashing through lack of vision. I have checked all the seals which appear intact, there are no damp carpets or panels, the air re-circulation is working and IS NOT on, when using it I can hear it whirr and when switched on the fogging occurs even quicker. Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks in advance, Darran
