Sadly, my '88 900 (206K km) let me down for the first time this morning. I seems to have power (radio, dash lights come up), but turning the key further to "start" has no effect. The starter doesn't even attempt to fire. I suspect the fuel pump (I heard an odd moan the first couple times I tried to start it) - but would a fault with the pump keep the engine from trying to start? I had a vaccuum hose replaced earler in the week, and the car was running like a top yesterday. I guess I won't be driving my 900 down to the US GP tomorrow. I'll have to _settle_ for my parent's 9000 CDE instead 8^) Thanks, Steve `'*:-.,_,.-:*'``'*:-.,_,.-:*'``'*:-.,_,.-:*'``'*:-.,_,.-:*'``'*:-.,_,.-:*'` << Steve Brezina >> sjbrezinanopsamrgrad.math.uwaterloo.ca `'*:-.,_,.-:*'``'*:-.,_,.-:*'``'*:-.,_,.-:*'``'*:-.,_,.-:*'``'*:-.,_,.-:*'`
