All Saab 900 racks eventually start leaking - seems to be endemic to the breed. I just recently had my local Saab dealer replace the rack with a rebuilt one in my '85 900. It had been leaking for years, and I just got tired of constantly cleaning my concrete driveway! Otherwise, it still drove well. Check out <saabsite.com>, they sell both rebuilt and new racks for the classic 900. And, check out Townsend Motors site as well (Tom Townsend), as they have a number of tips on rack replacement. BTW . . . my dealer charged $245 for the rack, plus labor. Don Allen Urbana, IL
