I was lucky in that I was out of the country for a couple of days last week and I don't cover a great deal of mileage anyway so I wasn't really effected. Glad it is over and hopefully it is going to force the government to lower the ridiculous amount of duty we currently pay on fuel. Three new additions to the Gallery Tomas Sanchez's 1992 900 Aero, Pierre S Wang from Taiwan's 1990 900i 16v and Michiel Fransen's 1985 900 T8. Thanks to all. Again the Mileage section is proving to be popular. Thanks to Ron Edwards, Tomas Sanchez, Nicolas Petit, Michiel Fransen and David Griffin (2) for their contributions. The Events section has had new events added for 2000 and 2001 including the International Saab Clubs meeting which will be hosted by the Saab Club of Finland next year. The Max Power review of the customized 270 hp Saab which was kindly sent in by Werner Hietbrink has been added to the Features section along with a link to the James Bond books in which he drives a Silver 900 Turbo. I have revamped the Tech Help section slightly removing a few links which were not really 'Tech Help' articles and adding them to a new section called 'Useful links' in the main Links section. The Useful links includes new information on Upholsters and Leather care products together with all the old links from 'Tech Help'. Thanks to Dave Molloy and Julian Lawless for the new information. If there is anything you would like to see added please let me know. Three new links added to the Performance part of Tech Help are SPG9, Superchips and Aquamist. There have been several new Links added, too numerous to mention individually but mainly to the Saab Specialists and Dealers sections both in Europe and the USA. Two new Recommended Saab Specialists, which I had been sitting on for some time but only discovered last week ! Thanks and sorry for the delay - Julian Lawless. I realized this week that I always concentrate on what is new and what is planned without considering what is already readily available at www.nospam. When I did think about it I realized there was an awful lot ! Probably the most comprehensive Saab Tech help in the world with links to thousands of other pages all over the world together with the few articles written by myself and Paul. The Features section hosting hundreds of pages of information all variations of the 900 from 1979 through to 1993. One of the largest 900 owners Galleries in the World. A successful Bulletin Board where you can exchange your knowledge and wisdom on the Classic 900 with other like-minded enthusiasts. A free personal Classifieds section with over 100 ads. Regular Polls and Competitions and a very comprehensive Links section. Likelihood is that if you are looking for something for your 900 you will find it in the 'Links' section. As always we will keep adding to this wealth of information already at hand on a regular basis. There is a new Competition to win a copy of the 84 page Transport Source Books Road Test and Articles book on the Saab 900 and Turbo. Question - Which years was the Saab 900 Carlsson produced and how many were manufactured in each of those years. The answer can be found on this site. Please vote at the New Poll if you haven't already done so. "Which model Saabs have you / do you own. There is a slight problem with the Poll in that due to the nature of the program used you can only vote once so if you have more than one Saab you can't tell us about it.
