I do not think it is normal to have a blue smoke coming out of your muffler. Blue smoke is oil burning black smoke is a too rich fuel mixture white smoke (water vapor) usually is present at cold start and disappear as the car reach normal operating temperature but could be present all the time in cold temperature. Make sure that your car is not burning oil continuously also the problem might disappear after the break in period (the piston rings would have better contact with the cylinder). Also do not race the engine at low temperature or at startup this could be the reason for the blue smoke since the gap in the piston rings are not completely closed (It closes with temperature) and you could also damage the engine.
