Subject: Fuel Pump

As mentioned before I believe my fuel pump died. I checked the voltage from the relay and had twelve volts to the pump, it still did not work. I removed the fuel from the tank, it was a walbro. The numbers on the pump were - first line: 4021358, 2nd line: A0S006, third line:13090-2. None of these numbers match any of the part numbers listed on-line or at the parts stores. One confusing thing was that the pump was not working previously. After taking it out and hooking it up to a 12 volt power supply at first it would not work, but after the second try it did. So it seems to be intermittent, is that normal? Suggestions?
