Hi: I was looking at a great 1990 Saab 900S Turbo today. Body in great shape, leather interior in great shape and it runs fantastic. It has 122,000 miles on it. The used Saab dealer says that the Turbo can be disconnected. Is that so? Why would I want to do that? I am trying to get my teenage daughter a car and I want a Saab. I drove the Turbo and I was really impressed with its handling and acceleration and power. So much so, I worried that it was too much power for a teenager. So the question: Can the Turbo be disconnected and if disconnected how well does the car run without it? Also, what operational and maintenance issues are there with a 1990 Turbo. Thanks Juan
