I recall having a problem with the pedal itself. If you look at it closely, where the clutch pedal connects to the master cylinder seems to "widen out" so instead of being a hole for a bolt to connect thru, it slowly gets oblong. (dunno if this is a good explanation or not, just not good at this sort of thing) but anyways. this happend to my 83 900 Turbo and fixed the prob by replacing the pedal.
