Subject: "Check Engine" light flashing.

Dear All, I have noticed the "Check Engine" light flashing on and off a couple of times over the last few hundred miles. The manual says that when it comes on (by which I assume it means "when it comes on and stays on"), my injectors are failing and that I need to get it to a Saab dealership asap. What does the occasional flash indicate, and can I carry out any repairs required myself? Thanks in advance for any advice you might be able to give. ATB -- Mike "His wish was to become a historian - not to dig out facts and store them in himself... but to understand them, call the dead back to life and let them speak through him to their descendants. She sometimes wondered who would pay for it and who would heed." - from "Harvest of Stars" by Poul Anderson.
