I think Goran was talking about the ACC cabin temperature sensor (assuming that you have Automatic Climate Control). It should be just below the passenger seat warmer switch and it just pops out of the front. You can probably reach in through the ashtray and push it out. You don't even have to go through the work of taking off the top of the dash.
