You know, I keep hearing bad things about Saabs sold in the UK. I can't understand it as I have had three conv. one old 900 one new 900 and now a 9-3 and hardly any major problem. As far as your issues; 1. Intermittent squeak , design problem. Electric Motor no, have it changed. 2. Can't comment, have 16" and they are pretty stable. 3. Never had problem with LCD, have it changed. 4. Support bar should NOT squeak. BTW, warranty in the US is for 4 years/ 50000 miles. Good luck.
