-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- This happened to me also. I thought that the replacement was horrendously overpriced so I fixed the old one. If you remove the ashtray, you can slip your hand in and push on the back of the ACC unit to pop it out of the dash. You can then push the sensor into the dash and remove it through the ACC hole. I was able to disassemble the fan and regrease the bearings. They were not worn, they were only dry. There is a brass piece that is swaged into a printed circuit board that holds the fan together. If you try to swage it again after you have disassembled it, it will break the PC board. I would just put it together and glue it. A dab of epoxy should work well. Before gluing it, look at where the plastic covers will be so that you don't leave glue where it will get in the way. Good luck, John Tony wrote: Hi, The fan that sucks inair for the ACC sensor on my 94 9000 is rattling. Is there a quick fix for this, do they all do this or will it be fixed for a while if I buy a new one?
