Ladies & Gents,
The general consensus that I get from bits & pieces I've read here is
that the Borg-Warner auto transmission in my Saab ('92 900S 16V, 88K
miles) is not very reliable, or at least it will need to be replaced
before 120-150K miles are put on the car. Aside from the obvious aspects
of an auto trans detracting from the overall sporty-racy-excellent
handling characteristics of this ride, what do you folks think about
this transmission? What have your experiences been?
I don't know if all of the 'classic' body 900s had the B-W unit that
mine has, and if they didn't, what are your general feelings about 900
auto transmissions?
Thanks in advance,
Dennis
