I need to replace my ball joints. They're really worn and corroded, but so are my control arms, so I was thinking I might as well replace the control arms while I'm at it with some fresh-looking ones. According to the Haynes manual, however, I'll have to take out the engine & transmission before removing one of the control arms! That sounds like a ton of work.
