Basically you can find all about it here: www.onstar.com I have something basically like it in my Mercedes CLK430 and I have never used the system once! Essentially its good for emergencies either when the car is disabled and you need Saab's on call service. The other "features" will eventually include checking e-mail, getting stock quotes, or getting directions. Basically you don't need it if you have a cell phone. The only thing that is good about it is the telemetrics feature (transparent) which could locate the car if its stolen and the thieves don't disable the system. You do have to pay for the service after a year at least with the Mercedes. I have a 2000 Viggen 3 dr and the OnStar System is not included. 2000 MB CLK430 (Silver) 2000 9-3 Viggen (Black with the funky orange interior)! in article 3abd3fe8.5086496nopsam.libero.it, Eos at NO_SPAMeos71nopsamail.com wrote on 3/24/01 6:46 PM: > > Hi everybody!!, > sorry for the basic question, but..
