Larry you are vague about your statistically compelling evidence. I can say from personal experience and knowledge I have gained from driving Saabs since 1983, I have had no problems with Bosch Platinum plugs. I don't say that to be contrary. It is a simple fact. Now the newer Saabs with DI ignition seem to need the NGK plugs to run properly, but even some 9000 owners with non-turbo DI engines have used the Bosch Platinum + 4 plugs without a problem. Apparently, those DI- equipped turbo models with APC or Trionic systems were engineered to work with the NGK plug. The other problem I have seen is people using the wrong temperature range and gap. You have too much disinformation floating around. What makes you think a company like Bosch can't make a spark plug that has the same specs as any other brand. Stop beating the tom tom drums of hysteria. Ken Washington 87 9000S 87 900S 83 900T
