I believe that they switched to Pioneer (from Clarion) during this year or prior to this year. Apparently, no one has yet figured out how to get a Pioneer to work. Saab may be programming the new model to work with the car. There is more information (you'll have to search) at www.saabnet.com in the bulletin board sections. I think that $500 for the CD player (not to mention $40 for the mounting kit -- for a 9-3 -- and another amount of money for ECU time) is ridiculous. You can buy it at a discount (15%), but even this price is very high compared to after-market CD changers.
