To UK SAAB owners, Does anyone know of a SAAB mechanic/garage in or around Swindon, Wilts other than Sudbury's who can do any kind of work on a SAAB 900 convertible. The local dealer charges £64 an hour, which may be reasonable to some of you, but is expensive for poor little old me. While they are good mechanics I'm looking for somewhere (dare I say it) cheaper. I know SAAB keep certain tools (for repairs) very close to their chest, which I disapprove of as this forces a monopoly. Any help in finding someone therefore would be appreciated. While I'm on the subject, if I can't find a cheaper repairer where is the best place to get parts at a reasonable price? Again this should be in England.
