I can't speak for the NG 900s, but I drove a classic 900 for 15 years and over 200,000 miles. It was a blast to drive when the roads were wet or snowy, which accounts for the rust out of the front fenders. I sold the car to a teenager who promptly had two accidents, but the car is still on the road. The classic Saabs are reliable and tough. I ended up buying a 'new' 1990 900S. It still has that solid ride, with no body roll on turns and no nose dive on braking.
