SWMBO says that I cannot do anything more to our 9000CD Turbo autotragic until I fix the (admittedly) strong gasoline smell when the windows or sunroof is open. It does diminish the quality of the experience for her. Can anyone get me started on the diagnosis/repair? I thought about the gasket in the fuel pump/tank, went under the tire in the trunk, but where the heck is it? Also thinking of charcoal canaster (same questions) and this weird gas cap with a hinged flap to put the fuel nozzle in that a PO put on. Any advice appreciated, 'cause I'd really like to buy some new shocks (Bilstein, Boge?)and get the headliner fixed, and some new tires (more suggestions appreciated). TIA. Tom Trueb Delphi, IN
